Ludington can be reached by four lane expressways:
From Detroit, take I-96 west to Muskegon and Hwy US 31 north to Ludington.
From Chicago, take I-94 going east, then up the Lake Michigan coast via I-196 and Hwy US 31 North.
Hwy US 31 ends in Ludington. Take the last exit on US 31 and go west on Hwy 10.
Once in Ludington
Take Hwy 10 through downtown Ludington until it ends at Lake Michigan (you can see the Ludington lighthouse ahead). Turn right on to Lakeshore Drive.
Stay on Lakeshore Drive for about 2 miles and veer right just before Stix Restaurant to stay on Lakeshore Drive.
Continue on Lakeshore for another 2 miles and veer left at the South Bayou bridge crossing to stay on Lakeshore.
Continue along the shoreline of Hamlin Lake for about one mile. Cross the bridge at Middle Bayou and turn right at the first driveway into K's Edgewater Resort.
If you prefer to fly, Muskegon (MKG) and Grand Rapids (GRR) airports are the most convenient commercial airports. Traverse City (TVC) and the nearest airport, Manistee (MBL), and also have commercial flights.
